Header Download times

New to Newsflash and currently downloading headers from newsgroups on my subscription. How long is this process? I understand it is a "how long is a rope" question but perhaps someone can scale if for me. 10 min, 10 hours, 10 days. Thanks

difficult to say. How long it takes is a function of the size of the group and the speed of your Internet connection and if header compression works or not. But on a 5mb broadband a big group like boneless will take hours and a small group will finish in a matter of minutes.
